There are many ways to enjoy the Great Outdoors Free. Our Mountain Bikes allow you to access 60 km of terrain, of which most is along the most breathtaking Madawaska River on an abandoned Railway Line. Also great for Walking. Our Canoes and Kayaks allow you to travel deep into Algonquin on our Lake Galeairy. Because of the abundance of wild shoreline many guests have spotted Loons, Beaver, Otters and Moose. Galeairy Lake is 11 km long, 90% Undeveloped and mostly in Algonquin Park. Paddleboats and Rowboats are also available for cruising. We have 2 Tennis courts and 1 Badminton court with racquets. There is a Sauna room, Californian Outdoor Jacuzzi and Heated Salt Water Outdoor Pool. The Pool is kept at 26C or 83F, open May 17th to September 28th. The Pool area is 10 feet from the lake, there are 4 interlocking Patio Decks with plenty of padded chaise lounges beside the lake for your enjoyment. Indoors in the Recreation Room we have three Slate Billiard Tables, ping pong, shuffle board, darts and soccer. The Rec. Room is very well appointed with sitting areas. For those who love playing on water, there is ample Water Skiing, Tubing, Windsurfing and Sailing from June 21st to Aug. 31st. Galeairy Lake is very clean and excellent for swimming.
Motor boats and Sunset Cruises are available for a FEE.

ALGONQUIN PARK

Come experience the Grandeur of Algonquin, with all it's Fresh clean air and its breathtaking sceneries. Just 5 minutes from us is an extensive Outdoor Pioneer Logging Exhibit along a 1.5 km walking path. 15 minutes from us, in the heart of Algonquin, is the premier Visitor's Centre. This Centre is overflowing with the richness of Algonquin's wildlife diversity as well as the abundance of its culture. There is an Artists Gallery at the centre. There are 17 well marked and safe nature trails in Algonquin. These are great for bird watching and fresh air well-being. Moose are everywhere in May & June, come see.

SATISFYING THE PALATE (MEALS INCLUDED)

A Feast for Supper and a Grand Breakfast is Included in all our packages. Breakfast is as plentiful as you like and is served until 10:30 am. Supper is traditional continental, non-gourmet, Exceptional Country Cuisine. Everyone raves over our Danish Duck, Fresh Water Pickerel, Prime Rib, Leg of Lamb, Pork Ribs. The list is endless with veal, lasagna, sea bass, steak, orange roughy, turkey, vegetarian, etc. There are several main course choices per night  with homemade soup, salad and homemade desserts. Many of our guests tell us that two meals are more than enough. Lunch is an extra charge served only in the restaurant. Our dining room is very Elegant,
and you will never feel over dressed. Please note that some guests opt for a tie, jacket or dress affair, while most guests prefer dressy casual. Last Dinner Setting is 8:00 pm. All dining rooms, lounge and recreation room are smoke free.

Vintage's Wines supplies us with Exceptional Wines from around the World. These wines are offered at cost price. Enjoy these beverages during a fabulous supper. Enjoy mixed cocktails, which are moderately priced, down n the many sun decks by the Lake, or in our recreation Billiard Room, until 10 p.m. when the Resort is closed.

GERTRUDE SORENSEN

Austrian born Canadian, after a successful business career with Danish husband Fritz, she became our resident artist. Learning from Poul Thrane, Mary Lampman and Ron Leonard. Her art hangs in private collections around the World. She has participated in many juried group & solo shows. Visit her Studio on the property. she exhibited in the Algonquin's Visitor's Centre.

Western Red Wood Cedar inside and out. Small rooms with raised ceilings and Custom Oak furnishings, decorated in rich warm colours. Queen bed beside two chairs. The Jacuzzi (5 feet x 6 feet & Extra Deep) is in front of the fireplace. The room is 275 sq. ft. The bathroom has a shower only. The Walkout is onto the grass looking into the birch trees and there are two lawn chairs for your use. These units are on a hill, behind the lodge and chateaus, looking down 300 ft. to the water's edge.

Many have travelled the world and have not experienced as luxurious. Perfect beyond words. They are every bit as Posh as the Spa Villa's with everything the Spa Villas have and more. First, 250 square feet larger, having a separate mouth watering bedroom from the most elegant living room. In the living room you also have a glamourous eating area. A two sided fire place with a double 14 foot high stone face. The Jacuzzi is on the bedroom side, encased in Roman Pillars. Two TV systems, one for each side. The bathroom in plenty of granite & tile has the same spoiling features as the Spa Villa (with Euro shower, steam bath & sauna). Plus each CHATEAU has its very own year round outdoor HOT TUB.

The private sundeck has 2 padded chaise lounges. The screened in gazebos have a padded sofa & chair plus eating table.

Exquisitely Elegant. The views are inspiring, the quality Deboer's.  These two suites are decorated in rich colours of greens, reds and purples. Each suite has 2 bedrooms, each with a Sculpted Sleigh Bed. There are two bathrooms, one half bathroom and one full bathroom with a Jacuzzi ( 5 ft. x 4 ft. & Extra Deep). The living area is spacious with two plump pullout sofas and two deep sofa chairs in front of the fireplace. The suites are 1400 sq. ft. These two suites can be combined for 2800 sq. ft. of Fun.

The Luxury Kings Ranch is set up on the hillside as you enter the resort. It looks down past the Spa Villas to the water front. This is a small 900 sq. ft non-designer home with a full Ikea kitchen. Plus a very spacious deck with your own private Outdoor Hot Tub (6 ft. x 6 ft.) for those starry nights. The gracious living room has 2 sofa couches and a two sided fireplace. The other side of the fireplace is the master bedroom with a 4 poster King bed. The bedroom and living room are open concept. The second bedroom is accessed through a second door in the bathroom. This bedroom is also graced with a 4 poster King bed  and sofa.

Prices are based on 4 persons per Suite or Ranch. For 2 people base rates on River Bridal Room with only 1 bedroom accessible. Both Suites & Ranch have chaise lounges on their private decks.

Deposit Policy

A $100.00 per person deposit is required with reservations. Deposits will be credited to accounts on the
CONFIRMED DEPARTURE DATE. The deposit minus $50.00 cancellation fee shall be refundable provided that: Notice of Said Cancellation has been received by the resort 10 days prior to arrival date. Full deposit loss 10 days to 2 days prior. Full 1st. night charge, Cancel last 48 hrs. As is the policy with most seasonal resorts, guests who depart prior to their confirmed departure date MUST PAY THE FULL RESERVED PACKAGE PRICE unless we are able to rent their accommodation on the same day as they depart. No credit will be given for late arrivals or early departures. Credit will be given for missed arrival date supper if notified one week in advance.
